Yesterday, it was about 90 degrees at 4 in the afternoon so we decided to take a dip. Sydney loves the water and is having fun floating in her turtle raft and splashing Mom and Dad.
Now that she's had some sun exposure, it's very clear she has inherited my olive complexion's tanning ability. Even with 50 SPF sunblock, she has tan lines! Matt and I suspect that she will be fair skinned in the winter months and then turn golden brown in the summer.
Still, I get a little sad when I see her tan little legs and arms - it's like she's a kid now, and no longer a baby.
