We were invited to go bowling at the White House!
There is a two lane bowling alley in the basement of the White House. I always thought that the basement of the President's home would be a lot cleaner and different looking than most other basements. I was wrong. We walked a long way to get there, but once we did - it was a great time.
There are old pictures of former presidents bowling in suits. The furniture is retro (from the 70s, I would guess) and you're allowed to bring your own food and drinks. Sydney had a wonderful time watching the pins fall over and clapping her hands whenever some got a strike.
