Matt, Sydney and I went to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina last week. It was Sydney's 4th flight and 4th state in 2 months of her life. We spent three days with the family at their condo. It was a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath place on the beach. The beach was wide and the water clean and warm. The weather could have cooperated better - but we were still able to enjoy some sun when the clouds parted. Grandpa S got a cabana for the two full days we were there and that was luxury that we (including Sydney) enjoyed!



Sydney was able to hang in the pool the first day and then put her feet in the ocean the second day. More importantly, Matt and I were able to get a date for the first time since mid-June. We went to see Dark Knight (the new Batman movie) and got a seafood dinner at the Black Marlin. It was nice to get some alone time and if you're willing to babysit Sydney so we can get a date, you're more than welcome to come visit!



We had a great time and Sydney had SO MUCH FUN seeing her Aunt Mer, Uncle Drew, Grandma and Grandpa! Now it is time to get back to normal life with a routine. Matt started work today and I am doing the Stay-At-Home-Mom thing for a month until school starts. Wish us luck!
