September Highlights

We were busy this month!  In September, we...
  • Visited the Arts and Crafts Village for the first time.  We tried bartering and bought a some bracelets and necklaces.
  • Had our first meal at Johnny Rockets.  This restaurant never caught my eye in the States, but it is a heavenly slice of America in Abuja.
  • Learned how clay pottery is made and purchased a few pieces from Stephen at Bwari Pottery
  • Saw how shea butter is made
  • Saw our family on Facetime regularly
  • Made it into the AISA Newsletter
  • Unpacked and set up our house
  • Had fun at a Labor Day cook out
  • Started running again (Kristin)
  • Joined the swim team (Sydney)
  • Started karate (Jack)
  • Attended a beer launch party at our pool
  • Traveled to Germany for work(how convenient that it was during Oktoberfest)
  • Got our first Nigerian clothes made for Nigeria Day at school
