My Mom and Dad are Awesome

My Mom and Dad left D.C. today (sad face.) My mom was in town for 8 days and my dad was here for three days. They were super helpful with cooking, cleaning, organizing, keeping Sydney entertained and doing the 9-12 a.m. shift with Jack so Matt and I could get some rest. I love how helpful and willing to do whatever our family needs to assist us in this transition to two children. If only life with two kids were as easy as today - food in the fridge, well stocked kitchen, happy toddler and many arms to hold the baby.

Sydney had a lot of fun with her Lolo and Lola. They went to the indoor playground, the outdoor playground and had lots of fun playing blocks, reading books and hanging out. She missed them when she got home from daycare and they were gone. (another sad face.) Luckily, we plan on being home for a few weeks this summer to see them again.
