Sydney loves to go to Mass. Our church is extremely baby friendly. The entire vestibule area is lined with benches and has windows so that parents can see and hear the mass as if they were sitting in the back row of the church, without the other churchgoers having to hear kid noise. Children can sit on the benches, crawl, look out the windows while their parents keep one eye on the service and other on their children. It's nothing like the "Mother's Room" at old-school Catholic churches (cramped, hot, noisy and limited seating.)
There are TONS of families that bring their children, which inevitably makes for good baby watching. Sydney enjoyed crawling up and down the vestibule hallway during last Sunday's Mass.
While crawling around, she eyed an 11 month old crawling boy and quickly made a beeline for him.
Then, she put up her arms and gave him a sideways hug.
He immediately started crying.
Syd's a heart breaker already. Watch out boys.
